President Donald Trump warns White House staffers under the Biden administration who controlled his predecessor’s autopen committed "TREASON at the Highest Level" by seizing control of the presidency and unleashing an open-border crisis that threatened to "destroy our Country."
"Joe Biden was not for Open Borders, he never talked about Open Borders, where criminals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes, can flow into our Country at will. It wasn’t his idea to Open the Border, and almost destroy our Country, and cost us Hundreds of Billions of Dollars to get criminals out of our Country, and go through the process we are going through now," the president declared Tuesday in a fiery Truth Social post. "It was the people that knew he was cognitively impaired, and that took over the Autopen. They stole the Presidency of the United States, and put us in Great Danger. This is TREASON at the Highest Level! They did it to destroy our Country."
Biden, who began his first term in the U.S. Senate 1973, never supported illegal immigration throughout his decades-long career until the dementia-ridden Democrat stole the presidency, Trump explained, pointing to a radical policy shift orchestrated by "treasonous" staffers exploiting Biden’s cognitive decline.
"The Joe Biden that everybody knew would never allow drug dealers, gang members, and the mentally insane to come into our Country totally unchecked and unvetted," the president continued. "All anyone has to do is look up his record. Something very severe should happen to these Treasonous Thugs that wanted to destroy our Country, but couldn’t, because I came along. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

As Trump explained, before Biden's 2020 presidential run, he took a firm stance against unchecked illegal immigration.
"Illegal immigration is wrong," Biden said in a 2006 Senate speech. "We need to secure our borders and punish employers who hire illegal immigrants."
As a senator, Biden voted for the Secure Fence Act of 2006, authorizing 700 miles of border fencing, and supported amendments to bolster border patrol funding.
These positions clash with the Biden administration’s record, which saw over 10 million illegal immigrants enter the U.S., including at least 663,000 with criminal convictions or pending charges, per U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement data.
The House Oversight and Accountability Committee, chaired by Rep. James Comer, R-KY, is actively probing Biden’s use of an autopen to sign documents, particularly last-minute pardons issued before he left office in January 2025.
Comer announced Friday, that the committee would continue its investigation into the "cover-up of Biden’s mental decline and use of autopen," calling it "one of the greatest scandals of our generation."
He has identified specific former Biden aides—Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernal, and Ashley Williams—for questioning regarding their role in the autopen’s use. Comer also subpoenaed audio recordings from Special Counsel Robert Hur’s 2023 investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents, though Attorney General Merrick Garland defied the subpoena.
Rep. Tim Burchett, R-TN, a member of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, warned Tuesday that Biden’s autopen was likely used in a "cash-for-clemency" scheme, with staffers profiting massively from issuing pardons without Biden’s knowledge.
🚨Rep. Tim Burchett suggests Biden's autopen staffers were taking massive payoffs in exchange for pardons:

"Cash for clemancy. Going to find staffers that auto-penned em.. Someone got rich. Someone making a hundred thousand a year and is offered a quarter of a mil..." pic.twitter.com/ZsKH8VifXv
"I don’t think anybody has been brought to justice over this...Tennessee has had a history of this. We had a governor – he sold pardons. You can look it up. His name was Ray Blanton. It made national news. It was a cash-for-clemency deal. And that’s exactly what I think you’re going to find out," Burtchett said on the Benny Johnson show.
"You’re going to find staffers that were able to take forms and run them through some sort of bogus legal system. And then they autopenned them," the GOP lawmaker said. "There’s probably people out on the street that shouldn’t be, but somebody got rich off of that. I hate to say it, but you’ll see probably something horrible happen to some of those people because it goes up the chain.
"This is a very dangerous town to play games in. Biden staffers took pay-outs and just ran the autopen for certain pardons.
Burchett’s historical reference is spot-on: former Tennessee Governor Ray Blanton, who held office from 1975-1979, was infamous for a “TennParole” scandal, where he issued pardons to 52 prisoners, including 20 murderers, for cash payments, sparking an FBI probe and his early ouster from office.
Compounding the controversy, reports emerged on Tuesday, confirming Biden was suffering from stage 4 prostate cancer, with a Gleason score of 9, indicating a long-progressing disease.
Trump remarked, "I’m surprised that —the public wasn’t notified a long time ago, because to get to stage 9, that’s a long time."
Audio from Biden’s 2023 interviews with Special Counsel Robert Hur, released by Axios, revealed slurred speech and memory lapses, including Biden forgetting key personal details.
These health revelations, coupled with Biden’s cognitive decline, suggest staffers operated with unchecked power, potentially profiting from illicit pardons while the creepy Joe was sidelined by illness.
