According to CBS news, Vivek Ramaswamy will be departing DOGE, the reason is still unclear.
There has been no official announcement, but it appears Vivek is parting ways with the Trump administration and DOGE partner Elon Musk.
Vivek Ramaswamy to depart DOGE amid friction with staff; one person close to Trump says, "Vivek has worn out his welcome" — CBS

According to CBS, someone close to Trump commented, "Vivek has worn out his welcome," again, it's not entirely clear what has happened behind the scenes. There are rumors of friction between incoming DOGE staff and Ramaswamy, with growing frustration at his lack of participation.
Elon Musk is known to run a tight ship, and fire employees on a whim. Following his acquisition of Twitter, Musk cut up to 70% of the staff. He is not one to drag his feet when it comes to decision-making.
Ramaswamy, on the other hand, has had a falling out with the MAGA base following his comments on American work ethic over the Christmas holidays. The backlash was so intense that he took a break from social media for almost two weeks.
Despite his social media hiatus, MAGA are not yet ready to forgive Vivek, many in fact, do not ever want to see him again. It's also likely DOGE staff and members of the Trump administration feel similar.
"See ya later you fucking anti-American loser" one user commented. "He's the first DOGE casualty" another person joked. Even under his own posts Vivek is receiving lots of hate, from being called a "nerd" or "scammer" and many people telling him to move back to India.
Holy fuck, he made it -1 days into Trump’s presidency looool https://t.co/oIUGGRNf17

Unfortunately, for Ramaswamy, there has been very little public support for him from the mainstream conservative party. Many people have simply remained silent, and no one (including Vivek) seems ready to acknowledge the comments he made.
MAGA heavyweight Bannon has been vocal about his distrust towards Musk, Ramaswamy and the tech oligarchs. He does not believe they have America's best interests in mind, and are instead looking for ways to line their pockets. Bannon was intergral to Trump's first administration.
Steve Bannon calls David Sacks, Elon Musk, and Vivek Ramaswamy “sociopathic overlords in Silicon Valley.”

Feels weird agreeing with him but he's spot on.
Now if only MAGA listened when we told them this was gonna happen...pic.twitter.com/qvqKc7glyi
